Our hands long to touch more than a keyboard and plastic, or our cup of drink in front of a screen. We want to create something—to carve and craft wood, to press and mold clay into a vessel, to heat and bend the softened iron into something beautiful. Working with your hands can become a therapy and rest for the mind. And, it is fun!

In a world buzzing with technology, the soul craves a place of peace. The rustling of the wind in the leaves of the trees, the singing of the birds and the voice of the animals, can in themselves calm our hearts.

Teaching skills and character to the next generation plays an important role in living out and preserving the lifestyle we cherish. Our experience shows that home education under the responsibility of the parents but in a community context, is the most effective way to transfer our values to the next generation.
